Stage Manager The CTC Production department seeks a Stage Manager for the 2008-2009 Season. This is a full-time, seasonal position (August-May). The Stage Manager will work with a team of professionals to mount original MainStage productions, Tarradiddle Players (resident acting troupe) touring productions, productions through the CTC Education Department, and host presenting artists. Strong organizational abilities and excellent communication skills are required, and experience with large cast shows, including three full-scale musicals. Responsibilities include: pre-production meetings, working as the liaison between director and designers, room-set-up, script preparation, beginning rehearsals on time and monitoring breaks and ending rehearsals on time, maintaining the callboard and preparing the daily rehearsal call, tech rehearsals, production meetings, and working all assigned performances. The Stage Manager will work in collaboration with the Production Stage Manager. Ideal candidates will be a college graduate with industry experience. Special consideration will be given to candidates with additional technical skills and experience (lighting, sound, etc.) and candidates with some teaching experience.
