If you give a pig a party, she’s going to want some balloons … and ice cream … and a pillow fight … and then she’ll want to clean up … and what better setting for another party than a nice, clean room? You get the picture. In Numeroff’s delightful circular stories one thing leads to another until somehow you wind up back at the beginning. But what this little piggy learns amidst all the flurry and excitement of putting together a party is this: you can’t have a party without friends … and having friends is the perfect reason to have a party!
