Charlotte Observer story
In celebration of our 60th season,
Children’s Theatre of Charlotte takes audiences over the rainbow with
the magic and excitement of The Wizard of Oz. Adapted from the original
novel by L. Frank Baum, this popular stage version features the beloved
music and lyrics of the classic motion picture. Follow Dorothy Gale, the
Scarecrow, a tender-hearted Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion as they travel
down the Yellow Brick Road seeking the help of the mysterious Wizard of
Oz. Their journey will find them facing the
powerful Wicked Witch of the West, and the friends will learn they must
look inside themselves to find the things they seek. They also learn, of
course, that there’s no place like home.
For ages 5 and up.
