“All the world’s a stage” in Shakespeare’s wise and witty comedy about love, staged for young adult audiences in an modern setting that moves out of the theatre to use the public spaces of ImaginOn in a creative way. Charming, beautiful Rosaline, disguised as a boy for safety, flees the intrigue and persecution of her uncle’s court for the Forest of Arden, where her exiled father lives with a band of supporters. There she encounters her true love Orlando, also exiled from court. But can she win his heart, disguised as she is? Rich with Shakespeare’s eloquent language, this playful story about mixed-up identity highlights the transformative power of love.
