Tarradiddle Players - Early Childhood Tour
We are excited to present our Early Childhood Tour for the 2011-2012season. The shows are based on familiar and not so familiar books and stories, poems and songs, and we will send you a curriculum guide so that you can share many of the stories with the children beforehand.
Due to tour limitations, these performances are only availble within a 100 mile radius of Charlotte, NC.

Tarradiddle Travels
Adapted by Flora B. Atkin
Designed especially for preschoolers, Tarradiddle Travels explores the world of live theatre with an engaging experience. Young audiences will enjoy four simple stories from around the world, from classics like “Caps for Sale” to less familiar stories like “Mouse Marriage.” Three actors tell the tales in a playful style that makes clever use of colorful prop pieces and encourages audience interaction.

Tarradiddle Tales
Adapted by Flora B. Atkin
In Tarradiddle Tales, three actors explore four folk tales from different countries: “The Magic Tree,” a Bantu folk tale; “Peter the Fool,” a Danish story; “Spider Talk,” an Anansi story from Ghana; and “Tiger Trap,” from India. This playful show for preschoolers emphasizes storytelling and audience participation.
