To provide the most affordable ticket prices and friendliest exchange policy, individual seats are not assigned within each section (Front Orchestra or General Section).
NOTE: Jester Society members receive reserved seating as a benefit. For information on joining the Jester Society, contact our Development Office at 704-973-2803.
Your Visit to Children's Theatre of Charlotte
Queue & Seating Information
We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before show time! Theatres open for seating 30 minutes before show time, and lines may form before then. Late arrivals (after show time) will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager, based on breaks in the production, safety concerns and as a courtesy to other audience members. Check your ticket to confirm where to queue (see map below): McColl Family Theatre or Wells Fargo Playhouse and Front Orchestra or General Section.
ImaginOn & CTC Hours
ImaginOn is open Mon.-Thurs., 9 am to 9 pm; Fri. & Sat., 9 am to 6 pm; Sun., 1 pm to 6 pm. For weekend evening performances ImaginOn re-opens one hour prior to performance time. CTC Business hours are Mon.-Fri., 9 am to 5 pm. Customer Sales and Service hours are Mon.-Fri., 10 am to 5 pm, and one hour prior to all performances for walk-up guests (Box Office phones are not answered on weekends).
Audience Members With Special Needs
ImaginOn is fully accessible, and we offer assistive listening devices and scheduled signed performances for the hearing impaired (more info). Please call the Box Office and let us know if your group will require any special assistance: 704-973-2828 (10-5, M-F).
Special Traffic Considerations
If you are attending a performance when there is a Panthers home game, Bobcats home game or other Arena/Uptown event, please allow extra time for getting to ImaginOn and parking. We will try to alert you of special traffic/parking issues in the Performance Reminder e-mailed to you the week of the show. Join our E-Club to make sure you receive our Performance Reminders and other special offers!
No Video or Photography, Please
Due to contractual restrictions and for safety reasons, the use of cameras (including cell phone cameras) and video recorders is prohibited during our performances.
Should your family's schedule change, we will gladly exchange your tickets for any available performance later in the season. Exchanges must be made at least 2 days prior to the date of the performance (no exchanges at time of performance). We are unable to offer exchanges or refunds for missed performances.
Rules Regarding Infants & Toddlers
Live theatre is a special experience, and audience members help create that experience by giving their attention, focus and appreciation to the actors on stage. Having infants and very young children in the audience creates issues that can seriously detract from the experience of others.
