Aftercare is available for full-day camps at ImaginOn providing supervision for students until 5:30 pm, Mon.-Thurs. The fee is $75/week. Aftercare is for 3rd-7th grade students only and is not available at satellite locations. Supervision is not provided for students not registered for this service in advance.

Musical Production Camp Information

• $545 per two-week session
• Full and partial scholarships are available to qualifying students for all camps
• Camps are full day, two-week sessions
• Students are grouped based on casting
• Bring a snack,a bagged lunch and plenty to drink each day
• Drop off time is 8:30-8:45 am
• Pick up time is 3:30 pm
• Aftercare is available for performance camps, please see Aftercare information below
• There is no camp orientation for 3rd-12th grade camps
• Family and friends are invited to a performance at 2:00 pm on the final camp day!

MADD and Acting Camp Information

• $275 per week-long session
• Full and partial scholarships are available to qualifying students for all camps
• Camps are full day, one-week sessions
• Students are grouped according to age
• Bring a snack,a bagged lunch and plenty to drink each day
• Drop off time is 8:30-8:45 am
• Pick up time is 3:30 pm
• Aftercare is available for MADD camps, please see Aftercare information below
• There is no camp orientation for 3rd-12th grade camps
• Family and friends are invited to a Showcase at 3:00 pm on the final camp day!

2010 Summer Camps - Performance Camps for rising 3rd-7th graders

Musical Production Camps
This new camp provides an opportunity for students to experience the excitement of producing a show. Campers will mount a popular musical production over two weeks culminating with a performance in the Wachovia Playhouse at ImaginOn at 2:00 pm on their final camp day. A short audition on the first day places students in appropriate roles.

Acting Camps
Acting camps for rising 3rd-7th grade students offer an exciting experience focused on acting technique and script work. Campers rotate to an acting, movement and art class each day. Students rehearse with their classmates throughout the week culminating at 3:00 pm on the final camp day with a performance for family and friends. Acting camps are offered at two convenient satellite locations.

MADD Camps: Music, Art, Dance, and Drama
MADD camps provide a fun and unique musical theatre experience for rising 3rd-7th grade students. Campers rotate to a music, art, dance and drama class each day. Join us Friday at 3:00 pm for a culminating performance in the McColl Family Theatre showcasing the entire week!

The Art of Acting
Learn theatre techniques to help you shine! Campers will develop acting skills by exploring blocking, projection, characters and working with a script. Join the fun while learning the art of acting!

Get in the Act
Campers will develop their acting skills by exploring blocking, projection, and characterization while working with fellow actors on scripted scenes.

MADD Camps

Live at the Movies!
Don’t miss the feature presentation of the summer as campers bring motion pictures to life through music, art, dance, and dramatization of favorite movie genres. From the red carpet to the final credits, campers will bring the movies to the stage!

Mystery MADDness
It’s a veritable “Who Dun It!” Campers will stage a mystery, complete with detectives, clues and accomplices. Music, art and movement will complete the mystery MADDness!

Let’s Give a Show
Campers are featured in an original musical production! Through scenes, songs, dance and art activities, students experience a unique theatrical process. A short audition on the first day places students in appropriate roles. The sessions below feature the production Through the Looking Glass, based on the book by Lewis Carroll. Students should enroll in only one of the weeks listed below: 

Jump, Jive, and Jazz
Get into the swing of things! Students will jazz up the stage with music, songs, and scenes highlighting the excitement of the popular jazz era.

Back to Broadway
Experience where Broadway began! Through songs, scenes and choreography students will explore the many generations that make Broadway musicals timeless.

Let’s Give a Show
