Primary Summer Camps
 

Aftercare for K-7th Grade Students at ImaginOn
Aftercare is available for full-day camps at ImaginOn providing supervision for students until 5:30 pm, Mon.-Thurs. The fee is $75/week. Aftercare is for K-7th grade students only and is not available at satellite locations. Supervision is not provided for students not registered for this service in advance.


Important Camp Information

Please read over the camp information below to better prepare your family for the camp experience. Note that every camp culminates with a sharing or showcase on the final camp day for family and friends; please plan accordingly as you will not want to miss this exciting time when students demonstrate the work done throughout the week. The information below will be mailed to families with a detailed reminder one week before camp begins.

  • $255 per full-day, one-week session.
  • Full and partial scholarships are available to qualifying students for all camps.
  • Please plan to accompany your child on the first day of camp for a brief orientation
    beginning at 9:00 am.
  • The summer camp handbook can be found online. The handbook details camp procedures and includes maps and directions to all camp locations.
  • Students are grouped according to age.
  • Bring a snack, a bag lunch and plenty to drink each day.
  • There are no refrigerators, microwaves or vending machines available for campers.
  • Drop off time is 8:45-9:00 am .
  • Pick up time is 3:00 pm.
  • Meet us for a Showcase on Friday at 2:00 pm!

To be waitlisted for a full camp simply
fill out an online registration form and select your desired camp from the regular drop down menus. Although a form of payment is required, you will only be charged if you receive a call
from Children's Theatre and accept
an open space.

2011 Summer Camps - Primary Camps for rising K-2nd graders

NOTE: Information below is for our 2011 Summer Camps and will give you a general sense of the types of Summer Camps we offer. 2012 Summer Camp information will be made available for planning purposes in early January, with registration beginning shortly thereafer. Specific dates will be sent to E-club members and former Campers. If you're not an E-Club member, join here!

Primary camps for rising K-2nd graders provide an imaginative outlet for this energetic young age. Students develop foundational acting skills by rehearsing a story drama with their classmates throughout the week while rotating to a drama, dance, music and art class. Camps follow the same structure; each title features different scripts and songs. Family and friends are invited to a culminating Showcase on Friday at 2:00 pm.



Show Stoppers
Take to the stage in this exciting week of music, art, dance and drama! Campers develop acting skills while performing entertaining stories from popular children’s literature. Students should enroll in only one of the weeks listed below.

Adventures in the Spotlight
Join us in the spotlight as the magic unfolds on stage! Campers will combine acting, dance, music and art to tell a variety of stories using the tools of an actor. Students should enroll in only one of the weeks listed below.
