For students new to the SOTT program. They begin fundamental skills training in a fun, yet professional environment with a strong focus on ensemble work. Text work is minimized so young performers can focus on establishing a connection with their acting partner, and larger group.

  • Connecting the vocal, physical and imaginative skills to express dramatic material
  • Empowering students to make bold artistic choices in their work
  • Emphasizing commitment and discipline by focusing on teamwork
  • Stanislavski basics covered: motivation, pursuing objectives, the “Magic If”
