EpicFest Teen Night

Saturday, November 4, 2017, 7-10 p.m.
UNCC Center City, adjacent to First Ward Park (320 E 9th St, Charlotte, NC 2820)
EpicFest Teen Night features two New York Times best-selling young adult authors:

Robin Benway

Author of "Far From the Tree," recently longlisted for the National Book Award. Her other novels include "Emmy & Oliver"; the "Also Known As" series; "Audrey, Wait!"; and "The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May & June."

Amber Smith

Author of "The Way I Used to Be" and "The Last to Let Go" (coming next spring).

The authors will speak briefly at approximately 8:00 p.m. and be available to sign their books. Each teen receives a copy of these 2 books as part of this event. Other event activities throughout the evening include a DJ, virtual reality demos, art projects, Kiss Print Reading, snacks and more.

Please note the following terms and conditions:
  • EpicFest Teen Night is open to high school students only, grades 9-12.
  • Each teen attending MUST have reserved a free ticket in advance of November 4. No walk up tickets are expected to be available.
  • If you cannot use your ticket, please CANCEL by emailing wdoermann@cmlibrary.org so another teen on a waiting list can be accommodated.
  • Tickets are not transferable to another teen without going through the Library and our box office contact.
  • Security will check all bags at this event. Absolutely no alcohol, drugs or weapons. Security may remove any guest due to inappropriate behavior.
  • Once guests leave the event, no re-entry is allowed.
  • Free parking is available, courtesy of UNCC, but attendees must follow parking instructions to obtain and display a parking permit that will be emailed to ticket holders closer to 11/4.
