Mini-Camps
Exciting full-day theatre experiences based on children’s literature that features storytelling, drama, art and music activities as a "stay-cation" option over holiday breaks and Charlotte-Mecklenburg School teacher workdays. Each Mini-Camp led by our professional teaching artists will highlight a different theme with specific activities geared toward the age level of each group.
Mini-camps will run from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.on those days.

Children’s Theatre of Charlotte’s award-winning Summer Camp program offers performance experiences for students ages 3 to 18 in a fun, interactive environment.
Camps are grouped by age:

- Early Childhood (one-week, half-day, ages 3 to 5)
- Primary (one-week, full day, rising K to 2nd grade)
- Acting & Musical Theatre Performance Camps (one- and two-week, full-day, rising 3rd to 6th grade)
- Summer Teen Studios: Performance and Technical Theatre Training (one- and two-weeks, for rising 7th to 12th-grade)

Payment plans
If you prefer to pay for summer camp registration in installments, a form to set up a payment plan will be available February 1, 2018. Once we have received this form, one of our associates will contact you to complete your child's registration. Payment plans are processed in three installments. The first installment is on the date your payment plan is approved. Remaining installments are charged to your credit/debit card on the first of the month for the following two months. Enrollment must be paid in full at least one month prior to the start date of your class/camp. Additional fees may apply.

Scholarships
Scholarship applications will become available on Feb. 1, 2018. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis according to financial need. All scholarship applications must be completed and received by May 1, 2018. For more information about how to apply and scholarship eligibility, please visit our Financial Aid page

Summer Camp Refund Policy
Our policy allows for gift certificate credit or a tuition refund up to one month prior to the first day of camp. Registration and handling fees are non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be granted after that date. Programs with low enrollment 2 weeks prior to the start date are subject to cancellation. Minimum enrollment is required to run each Camp. If cancellation occurs, the family will be notified and given the opportunity to select another camp or receive a refund.
